What freight modes does Cargobase support?
The Cargobase platform supports all standard freight modes such as air, road, rail, parcel, and ocean, and the imaginable sub-categories. There is also an option to add custom freight modes, to meet the shipper's specific naming conventions.
I only need the spot-buy and tender module, is that possible?
Yes! The Cargobase platform is fully modular: you can select individual modules or go for the full TMS (Transport Management System).
Can you integrate with my existing ERP or FAP?
Yes, we can! We can seamlessly integrate with your software stack. This includes LSPs and carriers (such as DHL, FedEx, DB Schenker, Kuehne+Nagel), ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Infor, Basware, Jaggaer), and FAP providers (ControlPay, CTSI, CASS).
How long does it take to implement Cargobase?
Your Cargobase account can be set up in a few minutes. Thereafter, our onboarding process includes the training of the designated users from both the shipper and LSP sides. On average this is done within weeks instead of months. The platform is fully SaaS and cloud-based (without any lengthy on-premise implementations) so we can be up and running very quickly!
Is cargobase a marketplace for freight?
No, we are not a marketplace. In Cargobase, you work with your private pool of preferred or pre-qualified LSPs. You can invite your LSPs to Cargobase, after which we will train and onboard them. We currently have over 800 LSPs on the platform including the Top 25 worldwide freight forwarders.
Can I bring my own logistics service providers to Cargobase?
Yes, that is in fact our model: you work with your private pool of LSPs. Once you have selected and invited your LSPs, we will train and onboard them onto Cargobase.
How does your pricing work?
